First Fridays on Penn

On the first Friday of each month many of the art galleries on Penn Ave stay open late.  Thankfully the rain stopped early in the evening and there were tons of people walking around.  After happy hour we headed over to watch some glass blowing. 

Emma and I got there a few minutes before everyone else so we decided to check out what was in the gallery before we headed up to the studio.  There were a couple of cool pieces, including this one which seemed fitting because in the morning a few of us would be heading out to help Habitat for Humanity paint one of their houses.

The evening was pretty mesmerizing and after about two hours we decided to call it an evening.  Hopefully next month we can wander around Penn Ave a bit more and see some of the other galleries have to offer.
